Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Granville Hall Residence was decent overall. The shared kitchen was a valuable asset for saving on food expenses while exploring Halifax. The facility's cleanliness, fresh linens, and availability of towels were commendable, making for a comfortable stay. However, the room size was a bit restrictive for couples. The WiFi worked well, but the absence of a leisure or TV room felt like a missed opportunity for guests to unwind. The location was superb for exploring the waterfront and dining options. The absence of pets and a non-smoking policy were appreciated but the lack of amenities such as express check-in/out may deter certain guests.
